There's no such engine as a 3LTE. There's a 3L which is NA, but never a factory turbo. Adding a CT20 turbo will give you a turboed 3L......but thats known by the prefix of 3L+T......+ means you added the turbo. :D

No such engine as 3L-TE

Only 3L it was replaced by 1KD-TE which was Turboed and ECU'd.

3L is known as long life SLOW engine with head issues and overheating issues.

Toyota Ploice where are you please arrest this turbo imposter and charge him with ruining a perfectly good slow engine.

1kd replaced the 1kz

2kd (2.5 d4d) replaced the L series.

Of course you are correct DARK VEDAR

However if we can believe the propaganda from the "ministry of propaganda and misinformation" the all new 3L-TE being developed in a secret Brisbane location will replace all our engines.

Hey guys and sifu-sifu sekalian!

I'm back and hunting!!!

Hey Kantha! Saw the thread which you were debating a BMW vs LC2. So what was the verdict la?

Came across http://www.mudah.my/Toyota+landcruiser+2-13605191.htm

Details:-
1KZ engine
Tough dog suspension
Bull bar front and back and side step
Still original paint
Fto seat
Pto winch
Manual; Big gear box with LSD
4 Pcs offset sport rim
Stainless steel roof rack (which is not shown in the photo)

Asking for RM 55,800 (nego)

Anyone knows the owner; Randy and/or the condition of it?

Looking to commute to work and also being a weekend soft core offroading, mountain biking and fishing. This car actually fits my criteria of having a 1KZ, manual big gear box, NO sun roof (not a fan), bull bar/side step, winch and a nice ori paint job. But it is pricey wehhhhh.......

Thanks.

I agree, price is a quiet high. I'd change tires if i was to buy this vehicle, additional expense.
